The Aries-572 amplifier is a single-ended triode zero negative feedback amplifier that produces 35 watts. Like a classic single-ended amplifier, the Aries-572 runs 100% Class A, and uses a directly heated triode for power output.
Unlike older designs, the output tube of the Aries-572 is a transmitting style tube with very high power handling. Combined with innovative circuitry, this amplifier will drive modern compact loudspeakers like B&W, Sonus Faber, Proac, Revel, and Totem.
Historically, SE amplifiers have been limited in power, largely under 15 watts. Most listeners have had to employ horn loaded speakers. The Aries-572 amplifier with 35 watts will perform beautifully in your existing system, and with your favorite loudspeakers.
