How does the Service Protection Plan work?
The Priority Service Program is a mirror of the manufacturers warranty, but with a few added features. Phillips offers electrical surge and lightning protection without requiring any additional hardware. Phillips covers the remote control for the full term of the contract, as well as on-site service for most products. If the product is found to be not repairable or deemed to be uneconomical to repair, the product is replaced. There is no deductible, co-pay or any hidden costs. When the freight is covered for units that need to be shipped to authorized repair stations.

Customers Come First
The most important reason for purchasing a Priority Service Contract is customer service. Phillips' primary goal is to help ensure that the you receive many years of enjoyment from the product you purchase.

Who provides the service?
In many cases it will be the original manufacturer or factory-authorized service center. If original manufacturer's warranty has expired just call Phillips nationwide toll-free customer service line for a conveniently located service center.

How long does the Service Protection Plan last?
The Priority Service Program provides you with one to five total years of coverage (depending upon which program you select) from the product purchase date. This includes the period of time that the manufacturer's warranty is in effect. Phillips coverage begins upon expiration of the manufacturer's labor warranty. There are no deductibles or hidden costs.

Annual Check-Up
You will appreciate a yearly check-up and maintenance service for VCRs and Camcorders. Professionals will check video head alignment and clean the head and tape transport system, as well as safety switches and sensors.

Is there anything else I have to do?
Save your receipt and the original product packing materials.
