The NEC 50PD1 monitor is a larger version of the 42PD2 and is designed to be a cost
effective solution for information display and dynamic digital signage. With a large
50" screen size for high visibility, the PlasmaSync 50PD1 offers a unique set of features
and capabilities that are perfect for the needs of public display environments. See the
PlasmaSync 42PD2 for additional features.

Internal PC:
The PlasmaSync 50PD1 cabinet provides an internal space that can accommodate a
single board computer. Design your own application-specific solution with off-the-shelf
components or choose a 3rd party PC designed specifically for this monitor.

External Control:
Connecting the monitor to a PC or other peripherals via the RS-232C terminal enables
control of many monitor functions from the remote computer. This includes on/off
input signal switching and monitor adjustments such as brightness and control of
a multi-system set up.

Built-in Video Wall:
Four screen matrix capability is included in every PlasmaSync 50PD1 with built-in
video wall circuitry that automatically divides an image across four screens and
enlarges each section to fill the screen area. This makes it simple to assemble four
50PD1s into a multi-screen system that increases your image to 100" viewing area
without any additional hardware or software. Plus, with only a 5" profile, you will
save space compared to a conventional CRT or rear projection video wall.
