Satellite and Antenna

A special satellite cable from the media room stack a predetermined location for the satellite antenna outside, for a big dish satellite, DSS, Dish or other dish system, should be run along with a coax cable and a rotator wire. You may optionally place the TV antenna in the attic if there is room to install an antenna. If out-door antenna placement is acceptable, prewire dual runs of RG-6 or better antenna cable for redundancy. If cable is to be buried in the ground, be sure to run the cable in conduit buried deep enough to avoid having the cable accidentally damaged during landscaping. Also include control wire for optional antenna rotor. Redundancy is critical because no matter how careful you are, someone else at the work-site will inevitably "mess with your cables."
